When we first stepped into the Serengeti Home, we were met with an expanse of raw concrete — a strikingly industrial structure that echoed potential, yet lacked warmth. Its clean lines and solid geometry whispered of strength, but it was waiting for softness, for life, and for identity. Our challenge was clear: to transform this bold architectural shell into a home that exuded elegance, comfort, and quiet opulence — a space that would feel as timeless as it was contemporary.
The Vision: Balancing Modernity and Tradition
The client envisioned a home that seamlessly merged modern sophistication with the familiarity of traditional design cues. It was not about erasing the building’s industrial DNA, but about refining it — layering textures, tones, and light to create a rhythm that felt both grounded and graceful. We introduced a palette inspired by nature’s calm — warm neutrals, muted greys, and delicate metallics — that allowed architectural form and interior detail to coexist harmoniously. Every line was softened, every corner refined, and every surface given a purpose.
